there were a people who gathered in an atmosphere of authentic friendship and love. They were a people who accepted one another without condition regardless of their background, status, or current life circumstances. They gathered together to give their life for something that was bigger than themselves: the impacting of neighborhoods and nations with the glory of God. The setting was first century, the early days of the Christian Church.
